About this Series

In May of 2003, I took a "Plein Air" landscape painting seminar in Italy.  I learned to paint in the great outdoors and decided that I'm a much happier studio painter.  I love the creature comforts of air conditioning and a lack of bugs flying into my wet paint!  All of these paintings were completed using photos from that trip.
